Long Cove Club
The Long Cove community has a rich and interesting history. It is nestled in just over 600 acres of live oak forest and sentinel pine and overlooks sweeping lagoons, salt marsh and Broad Creek. The story is nothing short of gracious, and the community that is housed there today embodies that.
Pete Dye, visionary artist and golf course architect, saw the Long Cove area as a blank canvas. From this blank canvas, he created a masterpiece. Since his vision started, Long Cove has grown into one of the most famous and respected golf course communities in all of South Carolina. It truly is a work of art where sky and water meld, as do the trees and the earth. Unsurprisingly, the golf experience is amazing and will keep you coming back for more. The Long Cove golf course has won numerous accolades and is consistently ranked as one of the best golf courses in South Carolina.
However, the community is about so much more than golf. It is a place of beauty and romance, where people can enjoy the glowing, magical sunsets over the golden marsh. They can engage in a variety of sporting activities and become true members of their community. In fact, living in Long Cove feels like living in a circle of neighbors and friends, where the rest of the world is not part of. Long Cove is a private residential community consisting of single family homes and home sites at Long Cove. There are no condos and short term rentals are not allowed.
A day at Long Cove starts with a cup of coffee on a patio. From there, the day slowly moves to evening time, at which point doors begin to open to await the arrival of guests. In between those two moments, people spend time with the children and grandchildren, neighbors and friends, engaging in a variety of different activities. Others simply spend time on their own, enjoying being at one with nature.

Long Cove began its development in the early 1980’s. It is a fully planned setting, but it looks as if it just fell into place.
